Rooms

We have been carefully restoring and converting a 500-year-old thatched barn on the site and another old post office building to a high specification. The building is thought to be the oldest in the village, apart from the church which is situated on the outskirts of the village about half a mile away.

As a small family-run business, we take pride in providing a personal touch and a warm, welcoming environment. We strive to cater to all our guests’ requirements to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms offer a choice of king, double, or twin beds. The five available rooms are named after farming families who have worked the surrounding land for generations, and they have been designed with both comfort and style in mind.

Included in the tariff for all rooms at this country pub and restaurant is a full cooked and continental breakfast menu that caters to all tastes and dietary needs. We offer en-suite facilities in every room with various amenities such as free WIFI, a smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, a wardrobe, a desk, White Company toiletries, underfloor heating in the bathrooms, and luxury towels and linens.

Corporate deals are available for those with regular overnight guests, in addition to private bookings.  While breakfast is available for non-residents and walk-ins, it is only offered when the accommodation is booked. Guests are encouraged to call ahead at 01763 838792 to check if the breakfast kitchen will be open. For large groups wanting breakfast, it’s best to book. Consider giving the gift of a night away to your loved ones by purchasing a gift voucher at any denomination. These vouchers can be used towards food, beverages, and lodging.
