At our restaurant in Royston, we are proud to have a Top 50 gastro food award-winning chef at the helm, bringing years of culinary expertise to our kitchen. Before joining us, our head chef spent five years as Head Chef at the acclaimed Hole In The Wall in Little Wilbraham, making a name for himself with his immaculately presented and flavourful dishes.

Chrishall's rich history dates back to the Domesday Survey and beyond, with Anglo-Saxon and Roman finds near our village confirming its longstanding community ties. The Red Cow, dating back to Plantagenet times, stands proudly in the middle of this historical tapestry.
Our restaurant in Royston has evolved from a simple watering hole into a popular gastro pub known for quality dining and luxurious accommodations. This transformation is not just due to our exquisite menu, but also our dedication to preserving the local heritage. The Red Cow features a beautifully converted barn that houses five en-suite rooms, each named after local farmers with connections to the village. Since opening our doors in January 2019, we have strived to provide an inviting atmosphere complemented by an exceptional culinary experience.
